A Safe Meeting Space
Safety is, quite rightly, most people’s concerns when considering booking a meeting room during the Covid-19 pandemic.
That’s why Groundwork’s Heath & Safety consultant, Oleh Smaczylo, has undertaken a Covid-19 risk assessment for The Meeting Place to ensure that we are doing everything possible to protect those who hire the space.
Our Covid-19 recommendations for The Meeting Place
- Hand sanitizer has been made available at building entry points, plus hand wash at the three sinks within the building to allow for frequent hand washing.
- We have created an adjusted seating plan to allow for social distancing – recommending that a maximum people of 10 people are in the building at one time. Recommended spaces have been marked out on the floor.
- Where possible no contact with the Groundwork on-site team is required; the building will be left open for your arrival with all materials already in the place. Support questions can be asked via the in-room telephone. If food has been ordered this can be delivered to the door by Good Mood Food at an allocated time.
- Where weather allows, we recommended that the large sliding doors are opened during meeting breaks to allow for improved ventilation.
In addition to this list, we advise that you follow any up to date government guidance that may be released as well as your own company policy.
We are understanding of the current uncertainty of the future; the potential of second wave, local outbreaks or increased absenteeism at work due to self isolating.
That’s why, throughout the rest of 2020, we’re allowing all bookings to be transferred to another date at no extra charge as long as 24 hours notice is provided (48 hours required where food has been ordered).
We hope that you feel more confidence in making a booking after reading this post. If you do have any additional question please do not hesitate to contact us.
